February: Easter Sunday is April 16, 2017, so in 2017 most Easter egg hunts will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017 and some on Saturday April 15, 2017. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute changes due to weather or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website.     Wednesday 3 April 2013: The History of the Easter Egg at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm & 2.30pm; Do you know where the idea of the Easter egg came from? Join our resident history hunter for a fun session exploring the history of the Easter egg! £1 per child. Booking recommended.
    Thursday 4 April 2013: Easter crafts: Badges, Make a funky foam badge to wear at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm & 2.30pm, £1 per child. Booking recommended.
    Friday 5 & Saturday 6 April 2013: Chocolate Festival! 10.30am – 5pm; Indulge your sweet tooth at our first Chocolate Festival. Local chocolatiers, bakers and sweet makers will be showcasing the best that Lancashire has to offer chocoholics! Activities and entertainment throughout the two days.
